"Make and Take"
Art Extravaganza

Join this interactive session designed for teachers who want to bring engaging, hands-on art activities into their classrooms. Participants will explore creative and manageable art projects for grades K–4 that encourage student creativity, self-expression, and classroom engagement.

During the session, educators will learn practical strategies for implementing successful make-and-take art experiences using affordable, accessible materials and adaptable techniques for a variety of learning styles and grade levels.

Teachers will participate in sample projects and leave with completed art samples, ready-to-use ideas, and inspiration they can immediately bring back to their classrooms. 

Elizabeth Tiedemann serves at Resurrection Lutheran School in Rochester, Minnesota. She teaches 2nd grade and school music. She has experience in teaching K-5 art. She currently teaches 2nd grade art and leads an after-school art program for grades K-2 called "A is for Art."
