Creating Academic and Language Rich Sensory Bins

This presentation will focus on ways to incorporate multi-sensory learning into early childhood, lower elementary, interventionist, and special education classrooms to expand upon student's understanding and use of language, along with, academic and curricular content.  The goal is to have participants leave with practical tools that can be implemented immediately into the classroom.  Dialogue and hands on learning will be utilized.

I’m a pediatric speech-language pathologist with over 12 years of experience helping children find their voices. I’m passionate about using creative, engaging, and play-based approaches to support kids in developing strong communication and academic skills. Whether it’s through storytelling, games, songs, or hands-on activities, I love finding fun and original ways to build confidence and connection with the children I work with. Supporting families and watching my students grow and thrive is the heart of what I do.
