Art Class Inspirations

This class will explore strategies for teaching art in a variety of educational settings. You'll discover a range of engaging materials and lesson ideas to inspire creativity in your students. Attendees will leave with practical project ideas and adaptable teaching techniques.

Additionally, if your school is interested in offering an extracurricular opportunity for younger students, this session will cover the essentials of starting and running an art club — even with limited resources or support.

Elizabeth Tiedemann serves at Resurrection Lutheran School in Rochester, Minnesota. She teaches 2nd grade and school music. She has experience in teaching K-5 art. She currently teaches 2nd grade art and leads an after-school art program for grades K-2 called "A is for Art."
