2016 Recipient of the SUNY Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Librarianship

In addition to library instruction, my current roles include:

LIB & LTS Course Coordinator

Responsible for course scheduling, monitoring enrollments, and assessing the required 1-credit library course (LIB200), including working with librarians, the Registrar's office, advisors and students.

Also responsible for the LTS topics courses offered as electives by a variety of faculty and staff in the Division of Library and Technology Services.

LIB Proficiency Exam Coordinator

Responsible for the creation of the exam and its regular review and updates. Register and proctor students at the main and branch campus, and facilitate the process for our distance learning students.

Library Liaison Coordinator

Promote and encourage ongoing outreach to academic departments and individual faculty members and follow up by assessing our efforts.

Textbooks on Reserve Coordinator

Work with faculty and the library's acquisition and circulation staff to provide textbooks to students through the library's reserve program.

Reference Services

Provide library reference services by staffing the Research Help Desk and participating in the 'Make an Appointment with a Librarian' service.

Library Liaison

Serving as the liaison to the English, Journalism, Public Relations and Theatre departments and the Branch Campus at Queensbury.
