Please complete the activities in the order they are presented. When you have completed an activity Be sure to print out a copy of the results or take a screen shot. Learn how to take a screen shot HERE. When you take a screen shot be sure to paste it into a word document. All of your screen shots should go in ONE word document that you will name following the model below:
Activity 1 - Answer all 14 questions and then write down your score. take a screen shot and paste it into your word document.
Activity 2 - Practice your BANGS adjectives with this fun battleship game. First decide what skill level you want (easy/medium/hard) then click start game. Your game board is on the left. You must click a square on the opponent's game board (on the RIGHT) to try and hit one of the enemy ships. If you hit a ship you will be given a question that you must answer correctly in order to sink the ship. **Make sure you pay attention to the agreement of the adjective AND its placement in the sentence! If it was too easy try playing at a harder level! When you finish a game take a screen shot and add it to your word doc.
Activity 3 - Practice the different forms of beau, nouveau, and vieux while playing Rags to Riches! Play until you win 1,000,000 dollars! (take a screen shot when you win)
Activity 4 - Click the link to the activity and scroll down to the bottom of the page. As you scroll down notice that the website presents and overview of irregular adjective endings much like the ones we have been learning about in class. At the bottom of the page are 12 questions. You must provide the correct form of the adjective in each blank box for each sentence (you do NOT have to write out the entire sentence - just the adjective). When you are finished filling in the blanks click the "check answers" button to see how you did. Take a screen shot and add it to your word doc.
Activity 5 - Another chance at Rags to Riches! This time you will see some different adjectives so don't be fooled :) Play until you win 1,000,000 dollars! (take a screen shot when you win)
Activity 6 - Challenge Board! Click on the link for the activity and you will see two boxes labeled Player 1 and Player 2. Type your name in the Player 1 box and then click the button below that says "1-Player Game". This will take you to the challenge board (it is kind of like the game show Jeopardy). You do not have to go in any particular order, but you must answer all of the questions on the game board. When you are finished take a screen shot and add it to your word document.
