Reassessment
You have THREE options to earn points/re-do assignments:
1. ReTest - for tests ONLY - come in to complete a retest before the end of the next unit and have your original score completely replaced
2. Virtual labs - Earn points on low lab scores or missing lab assignments from that unit
3. Demonstration video - create your own video help lesson (right column below)
VIRTUAL LABS & ACTIVITIES
Demonstration Video Instructions
Do you need to improve your grade? Did you finally get the hang of something AFTER you took the test? Earn some bonus points by recording yourself as YOU explain science! The better your video, the more points you can earn!
STEP ONE: Pick a topic. Any bonus points you earn will be added to your test/lab grade on that topic, so choose wisely! Make sure you understand the topic before you start.
STEP TWO: How are you going to teach your topic? Are you going to solve some math problems? Do a lab experiment? Explain a diagram?
STEP THREE: Choose your recording method - use a video camera, webcam, or a screen-shot program like Screencast-O-Matic to record yourself as you explain the topic. (YOU do not have to be in the video - only your voice!)
STEP FOUR: Upload your video to YouTube
STEP FIVE: Add the link to your video to the list below by clicking "Add item" and filling out the information. Tell your teacher that your video is linked on this page and you're done!
