70% Major: Tests, Major Labs, Projects

30% Minor: Smaller labs, problem sets, and graded free response practice

Reassessments for low grades:

Retests (on Canvas) will completely replace original test scores

Virtual labs (see reassessment opportunities) will completely replace failing lab scores

Problem Set Items automatically offer multiple attempts for partial credit with one free try with no penalty

Reassessment Videos (see reassessment opportunities) will replace any non-test failing grade, or will earn additional points on any non-test assignments if there is evidence of a higher level of understanding

General Grading Info:

Grades finalized at the end of each quarter

No late penalties - alternate assessments required for late problem sets, late free response, and tests after 2 days
