Notes for teachers:
I cover these topics over the course of 3 days
The first day, I teach detailed electron configurations and only complete the detailed notations on Practice #1
The second day, we go over the answers to the detailed notations on Practice #1, then I teach the noble gas shortcut notations and students complete the rest of Practice #1
The third day, I teach orbital notations and have students complete Practice #2
If my students work pretty quickly on the second day, I usually have Practice #2 ready to go so that they can at least get started on the detailed and shortcut notations for that assignment
