Getting started using the Arduino on the chrome book is a little different than on a Windows computer once up and running. The Cloud based Arduino Create, and TinkerCad circuits applications you will use are easy and powerful.
Let's start with Tinker Cad. CAD stands for Computer-Aided Design, and Tinker Cad is an online tool to learn the basics of computer Aided design both for 3D objects and Electronics.
To get started:
Go to TinkerCad and login with your school Google account
After you have signed in, you should see a screen similar to the one below.
Click where it says 3D in the top left of the work area to toggle to the Circuit design area.
Work your way through the four Tutorial lessons to get comfortable with the drawing tools.
