About Arduino

I have chosen to make Arduino a central part of the Computer Technology program at Preston High School. The Arduino is an open-source development and learning platform that provides students with an affordable and easy-to-use tool for exploring electronics and computer technology. Using Arduino, students can explore many aspects of computer technology, including number systems, logic, electronics, programming, and networking. In addition to the core content, Arduino allows for collaboration, teamwork and extension beyond the class to the Arduino community, a worldwide open-source development community. Students are encouraged to use these pages as their primary resource rather than as a starting place and a source of information specific to using the Arduino at school and the requirements of the projects and activities on these pages.
