Welcome! I am currently a Research Analyst at the Center for Western Weather and Water Extremes (CW3E), Scripps Institution of Oceanography at the University of California, San Diego.

I am currently leading the Subseasonal and Seasonal Research Team within CW3E. My research interests include subseasonal and seasonal predictability of atmospheric rivers and precipitation, midlatitude teleconnected responses to tropical forcings, aerosol-cloud interactions, & California extreme precipitation events.

Previously, I was a postdoctoral scholar at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory / California Institute of Technology under the advisement of Dr. Duane Waliser. In 2015, I earned a Ph.D. in Oceanography (specializing in Climate Science) from Scripps Institution of Oceanography under the advisement of Dr. Dan Cayan and Dr. Art Miller. In 2009, I earned a B.S. in Atmospheric Sciences from Cornell University in the Department of Earth & Atmospheric Sciences.
