I'm a consultant, teacher and researcher, with the educational background from hydrobiology, limnology, and environmental engineering.
Currently I'm working as a senior lecturer in environmental engineering at Tampere University of Applied Sciences. Previously I have been working also as a head of degree programme in Environmental Engineering.
Most of my teaching I have done in the Degree Programme in Environmental Engineering, but I teach in other degree programmes as well. For example, in the TAMK's Master's Degree Programme in Risk Management and Circular Economy.
Previously I have been working also as an external researcher in the Finnish Environment Institute (SYKE) and as an environmental consultant in Golder Associates Oy and Ramboll Finland Oy
Who am I and what do I think are questions answered best by other people. Here is one, an "expert story" wonderfully written by Andruta Ilie and published in the TAMK's website. Click here and read on: “We spend a lot of time in air-conditioned spaces that climate change doesn’t 'touch' us much.”
Click Research or Tutkimus (in Finnish) for further information on my research activities and feel free to contact me. You can find my list of references in the Google Scholar.
