I am an Assistant Professor in Economics and the Programme Director for Work Placements at the School of Business, National College of Ireland. I am a Senior Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy and an Associate of The Economic Network.

My research interests are in Economics of Education, Industrial Organisation, and Applied Microeconomics. My current agenda focuses on labour market outcomes of higher education graduates, in particular the value-added of work placements.
