I am an Assistant Professor in Economics and the Programme Director for Work Placements at the School of Business, National College of Ireland. I am a Senior Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy and an Associate of The Economic Network.

My research focuses on two areas:

1. Firm Competition & Consumer Behaviour, investigating market structures, firm strategies, and consumer decision-making, with implications for public policy.

2. Labour Market Outcomes of Higher Education Graduates, investigating university-to-work transitions, particularly the impact of work placements on graduate employability.

I am also expanding into Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) in Higher Education, examining barriers to access, retention, and student success to promote more equitable outcomes.
