I am interested in the evolutionary analysis of genetic data at the molecular and population levels. My areas of research include Population Genetics, Molecular Evolution, Molecular Adaptation, Genetic Diversity, Phylogenetics and Phylogenomics, among others. Indeed, I am also interested in the influence of evolution on the structure and function of biological macromolecules.
