Information:

The Mifflin Township Fire Department was founded in 1953, and has proudly served our residents since. The Mifflin Township Fire Department is lead by Full-time Chief, Brian Mowry. Currently we have 7 full-time personnel that are trained to the level of Paramedic/Firefighter, they work a rotating 24hrs on, 48hrs off schedule, with 2 being on per day. We also have 25 part-time personnel that are trained firefighters and are trained either as an EMT-B, EMT-A, or Paramedic, there are 2 part-time personnel per day for 24hrs.

We serve all of Mifflin Township with Fire and Emergency Medical Services. We currently staff 2 stations 24/7 with 2 personnel at each station. Station 81 holds 2 Engines, 2 ALS (advanced life support) ambulances, utility support truck, and a hazmat trailer. Station 82 holds 2 Engines, 1 ALS ambulance, and grass truck.
