Welcome to this website about CPLD'S. It is basically intro to use of CPLD devices (mainly Altera cpld's) for use with retro based microprocessor boards. The basic aim is to show:

• Simple CPLD type board construction

• Use of Quartus II IDE software

• Programming cpld's with VHDL type programming language

• Programming the cpld's with JTAG interface

• Simple testing of cpld devices
