That was the day we went to see JFK not knowing one day he would be President! I shook his hand and asked him a question. We were doing a debate on whether you should vote party or vote for the man. I was on the side to vote for the party and when I asked the question to him……..he answered vote for the man. I said that is not what I wanted you to say! He looked surprised and I did not take time to tell him why!
