Grades will be weighted using the following scale. This scale was created by the math departments at Maize South and Maize High Schools and is used by all math teachers in the two schools. Note that the Final Exam is in same category as other Exams, but will be weighted 2 times the value of a normal unit exam. All assignments will be graded by Mr. Ho. Please schedule an appointment to discuss questions and/or comments about graded assignments.

Final 20%

Exams 56% (including Final Exam which will be weighted 2x a normal unit exam)

Assignments 24%

Grading Scale:

A: 100 – 90

B: 89 – 80

C: 79 – 70

D: 69 – 60

F: 59 - 0
