For those taking this course remotely, the way it works is that the classes are broadcast live via Adobe Connect, and they are also recorded. So this has implications for students and for guest lecturers.
For Students
At class time, what you need to do is point your browser to the following url:
https://connect.uky.edu/socialnetworkanalysis/
Then select "Enter as guest".
For Instructors
Log in to the class machine using your UKY link blue credentials.
Point your browser to https://connect.uky.edu/socialnetworkanalysis/
Log in using your UKY credentials again
Adobe connect will create a new tab.
Click on 'Share my Screen'. When it asks what to share, choose 'desktop'.
Turn your microphone ON (on the boxy unit you attach to your belt).
Click the microphone button at top center screen and select Connect my Audio
Click on Meeting in the main menu and select "Record Meeting".
Very Important: Turn microphone off when you finish the class. Otherwise, the battery runs down over the week and the next instructor will have not have a working microphone.
