About our School
JFK, The American School of Queretaro, is an independent, non-profit, bilingual, multicultural school that provides a K-12 education. We are accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (Cognia) in the United States. Upon graduation, our students receive a U.S. high school diploma, along with a diploma from the Mexican Ministry of Public Education (SEP). Beginning in 11th grade, student enroll in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program.
At JFK we have an enrollment of 1400 students, of which approximately 305 are current high school students. We are proud to have a diverse student body, presently representing 35 nationalities. An estimate 76.7% of students are Mexican nationals, 7.76% are American and 15.53% are from other countries.
We have hosted an international College Fair for the past 23 years. It is the most extensive undergraduate fair in our state and the Bajío Region. On average, 100+ colleges and universities from the United States, Mexico, Canada, Europe, Middle East, and Australia make their way to our beautiful city and participate in our fair. All of our high school students, along with many of our parents and other community members, attend the fair. In addition, we invite other high school students, from the around region to attend.
