Here we include our gantt chart and EVA analysis on Schedule Per Index (SPI).
Gant chart shows the tasks assigned to each group member and planned schedule. we started our project on 15th January with a plan to complete fully by April 10th.
The project was divided into different phases and sub-tasks were scheduled. In the first planning phase we planned to prepare documents like Gantt chart, budget, risk assessment, etc and get approval from college done on time.Google site creation was completed within 2 days as scheduled. Next that’s the design phase was we concentrated more finished within the upper and lower limit.
The line graph shows our EVA analysis bases on Schedule Per Index(SPI) till march 24th our SPI value was 1 indicates we were on scheduled time. From march 24th week onwards situations have been changed college was closed due to COVID 19 lead our project to under the schedule. Thus we dropped doing machining and testing phases of the project and directly moved to the final report without presentation.
Here shows the initial and final budget and EVA analysis with Cost Per Index(CPI)
Our planned budget was 1523 including labor and material cost. but we could spend only 479.25 since we dropped the machining and resting phase of the project due to COVID-19.
The above line graph depicts EVA analysis based on the Cost Per Index(CPI). The first week we started with an under budget because all the documentation works completed before planned hours.but from 22nd January to 12th February task started from over budget went down to little over budget. Eventhough we managed to reach under budget on March 8th through proper planning and following the feedback from our project professor. On 5th week from an up and down structure, CPI went to less than 1 means project was over budget having a straight line.
We see a drastic drop from 24th march because college and machine labs were close due to COVID -19 resulted in CPI to become zero. In the final stage, the line went up from zero but was over budget because more time had spent on final documentation works.
In conclusion overall CPI was above 1 indicates we were under budget for this capstone project.
