Somehow four out of five survivors of the Terra Nova crash were rescued. Unfortunately, the ship itself was engulfed in a huge sphere of rips and tears in the space-time continuum. Death fields have engulfed a volume of space 1 light year in radius, creating a red zone. All traffic prohibited.
There was no time to save the cargo. However Tiara Cruise Lines deemed the contract fulfilled and paid the Lasers the agreed upon sum.
Among the rescued were the pre-war celebrity Aime Antla, who is putting together an "epic documentary" of the space disaster, and inventor and entrepreneur Cheshire-U.
