Effective Implementation of Google Technology in Teaching and Learning of student of class 12th Standard,teachers and community of My School

Senior school’s 12th class students , teachers and administrator of My School , Additional Director, COUNCIL OF STATE EDUCATIONAL RESEARCH AND TRAINING (SCERT) /DIETs ,Uttarakhand (INDIA)
CONTEXT(Background)
In Uttarakhand State, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is going to be a compulsory subject at level in schools. Due to its importance the government is committed to ensuring the provision of high quality IT education. Various attempts have been made in the past to improve the achievement of Computer Literacy in schools. The new curriculum in ICT emphasis on skill acquisition, creativity and the arts of enquiry and problem solving. It aims at developing in the student the ability and willingness to perform investigations using various ICT Tools and its operations. As part of the reforms the Google Group places a lot of emphasis on ICT tools for teaching almost in every subject for schools . It is therefore, designed to meet

The introduction of Google Apps in the Education under the Teaching and Learning has been implemented by me since last two years. The preliminary observations found that teachers are not fully utilizing these tools and Apps in their teaching. A survey was conducted to study the barriers preventing the integration and adoption of Google Educational tools in teaching.
There were Six major barriers identified:
Findings:
§12 % teachers had received computer training during 2009-2010.
§65% said that they had not received training on how to integrate Google technology into teaching.
§12% of them responded that they had integrated ICT tools into specific areas of instructional units and 5% stated that they had fully integrated it into their teaching.
Since last many years teachers and students has experienced several training and orientation course at different platform but even today they are not capable to use or integrate Google technology in their teaching process for effective and interactive class environment.
It has been observed the quality of teaching and the contents are not at par and therefore it has been emerged as a threat for the teachers if they will not acquainted with educational software or Tools.
