Social Club
The best events within the Shed have been those social activities that bring different interest groups into the same space for something completely different.
The Social Club looks to answer this demand. So far we have done two fishing trips, trips to Leeton, West Wyalong and Thurgoona to nearby men's sheds as well as to the Bandiana Army Museum.
As the Shed evolves, the Social Club will be looking at a once monthly 'something different' activity - to which all members will be invited. It may be a research project to assess the brewing standards of the Thirsty Crow, it may be a visit to Kurrajong recycling, it may be lunch at the Junee Roundhouse.
Suggestions and organisational assistance are invited. Past trips have been just a great way to weave away from the day-by-day activities and have opened up new interests and adventures for blokes.
There are 14 men's sheds within driving distance of Wagga Wagga. Might be a good idea to pop in to each one at some time & just share with other blokes. They can all teach us something.
George Reynolds will be the social mover and shaker.
We can't find a pic of George but he'll be somewhere near his mate Moe - who likes to eat late night visitors!
