This was the very first interest group established at the Wagga Wagga Showground before we even had a shed. Michael Johnson started with a Linux system (which no one understood) and was joined when we moved to the Weissel Oval former dressing sheds by Lawrie Maher and Brian Byrne. Sadly for Michael, we had to acknowledge the existence of Microsoft.

With the donated kindergarten buildings refurbished by the carpenters, we had access to a carpeted, networked, evap cooled classroom with loaned projector and screen. The computer classes really took off. We ran courses in basic computing, word-processing, spreadsheets, manipulating digital images, document and pictures scanning, vinyls to CD transfers, mobile phone technologies, photo stories and elementary video editing.

Computers continued in temporary accommodation in a worksite office as above. We have since moved into a computer specific room in the new building, With a variety of tutorials being enjoyed With our own connected smart board which is great for tutorials and presentations.

It's all about blokes who can helping blokes (and blokesses) who want/need to get into this www stuff.

We do invite wives, lady friends of the shed and community groups into our computing rooms when the shed is not directly focussed on menshed stuff. We are a community resource and it is our pleasure to return to the community, opportunities to use our facilities when not committed to menshed activities.

Plans this year include tablets (nope; not panadene/atacand etc) and smart phones to help keep we more senior blokes up with the grandkids.

Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Shed from about 9.30.
