Friendship Pond Fleet Skipper Dean D. reported on the shrubbery (now trimmed) and the equipment box (now replaced and redone by Skipper Bruce L. who also set up hooks for the two poles (Launcher and Pusher) we keep at the pond. All the buoys have been upgraded with Dean’s specially designed reels.
Nirvana 32s in Boathouse are available. Boy Scouts are being approached by Karen O. S.; while Mike C. is contacting the Navy junior ROTC people at Chambersburg H.S. Meanwhile, Mike G. will look into offering them on EBay. Mike C. provided photos to Mike G. for his possible use. We need the space in the Boathouse, so, since usage has been essentially zero over the past two years, it is time to see if we can find a new home for them.

We need a date for it that doesn’t conflict with Menno Haven’s schedule nor with our sister Model Yacht Clubs. So, ideally a 4th or 5th Saturday of the month would be the way to go.

During all our Racing events the Line of Excellence will be set up. This dual start line arrangement provides our “Newbies” with an excellent opportunity to experience being out in front of the fleet in clear air. More experienced skippers will have the opportunity to practice overtaking other boats. It is a win/win arrangement.
The Hub served excellently for our meeting/lunch.
