2020

  • Mengjing joined Prof. Judy Cha's research group at Yale University as a postdoctoral associate to continue working on intercalation of 2D layered materials.

2019

  • Mengjing had two oral presentations in the Fall MRS, Boston. It is a great time talk and meet with the frontiers of materials research work.
  • Mengjing is now working with Prof. Yeonwoong Jung at University of Central Florida on flexible 2D layered chalcogenides.

2018

  • Mengjing passed her thesis defensed and finally got her Ph.D. degree in Chemistry!!!
  • Mengjing's first author paper "Chemical intercalation of heavy metal, semimetal, and semiconductor atoms into 2D layered chalcogenides" was accepted by 2D Materials! Check out here!

  • Mengjing presented a poster "Deintercalation of zero-valent metals from 2D layered chalcogenides" in 2017 Graphene and Beyond Workshop at Penn State University.

  • Mengjing presented a poster "Polytypic Phase Transitions in Metal Intercalated Bi2Se3" in 2017 ACS Spring National Metting at San Francisco!

2016

  • Mengjing's proposal to work in Molecular Foundry at Berkeley Lawrence National Lab was accepted!
  • Mengjing's work on studying polytypic phase transitions in metal intercalated bismuth selenide was accepted by J. Phys. Condens. Matter.! Check out here!
  • Mengjing Rebuilt a whole new synthesis lab in Davis in one month!
  • Koski's Group moved to west coast from east coast! Mengjing is embracing a whole different western culture, sunny weather and amazing natural landscapes!
