Each group has scheduled meetings that are held weekly or monthly.
You can choose to be involved with the groups that interest you.
The groups planned for the 2023-2024 year include:
Book Club - The daytime groups meets on Tuesday at 10:30 am of the same week as the evening group, which meets on the second Thursday of the month at 7 pm.
Bowling - meets on Thursday mornings at Village Bowl.
Bunco - The daytime group meets on the 2nd Monday of the month at 1 pm. The night group meets on the fourth Monday of the month at 7 pm.
Euchre - meets (spouses invited) to play on the fourth Saturday of the month
Supper Club - meets (spouses invited) on the second Saturday of the month at members' homes or restaurants
Day Trippers - join other ladies on trips around the Milwaukee area
Ladies Golf - meet to play on Thursdays during the season
Luncheon Group - has two groups that will meet on different days of the fourth week of the month to accommodate all of our members.
Biking and Hiking - meets (spouses invited) to bike or hike at trails in the area. We have typically gone on Tuesdays, but are open to your suggestions.
Sheepshead - meets on the third Tuesday of the month at 7 pm.
If you have an interest that is not listed, we welcome you to start a new group.
November 2024 Our Activity Groups are keeping everyone connected with regular gatherings: Book Club, Luncheon Group, Bunco, Euchre, Hiking, Supper Club, Day Trippers, and Sheepshead. Being connected with others is so beneficial. Hope you are reaching out to make new friends.
February 2024 Our Activity Groups have been very busy this year with a large number of members getting out to socialize. Book Club has had a nice group to gather in conversation each month. Bunco has a daytime and an evening group meeting this year. Euchre is drawing a large crowd and giving our spouse time to get together. The Luncheon Group is meeting in two groups to give more women the chance to get out for lunch. Supper Club has been meeting at restaurants in the area and enjoying the opportunity to meet our spouses. We have started up a Sheepshead Group for members interested in playing that typically midwest card game. Daytrippers has had a few fun outings. The Bobble Head Museum being one of them.
May 2023 Our Activity Groups were busy this year. Book Club always has a nice group that engages in discussion over the month's book. Bunco has been a great opportunity to meet and talk with other members, especially those who are new to the club. Euchre has been very well attended and helps our spouses to make some connections, too. Bowling has ended their year and Golf will be starting up in June. Hopefully they have good weather. The Luncheon Group has been well attended and may need to split into two groups in order for restaurants to accommodate all of us. Biking and Hiking is a way to get out and enjoy our area outdoor activities with fellow enthusiasts. Supper Club has found some new locations for dining and is always looking for new ideas. Theatre Group and Daytrippers have had a few outings this year.
December 2022: Book Club has discussed The Four Winds by Kristin Hannah and The Stationery Shop by Marjan Kamali. Bowling has been meeting on Thursdays. Bunco has enjoyed some fun Monday nights at Duann's and Ann's. Euchre has met on Saturday evenings at Jeanie's and Kim's and will be ringing in the New Year together at Jeannette's. Supper Club has enjoyed dining together at Wallace Lake Supper Club and The Olde Cedar Inn. Luncheon Group was just at The Cracker Barrel. Theatre Group has been enjoying some local theatre. September 2022: We are happy to join together with friends. We are meeting to discuss The Orphan Collector in October. The Theatre Group has several outings planned. Bunco, Euchre, Luncheon and Bowling Groups are all busy with new activities. Get involved!
September 2021: We are all eager to get back together. The Book Club met at Cathy's house to discuss The Wild Rose. The Bikers, Hikers, Paddlers, Skiers have been squeezing in a last few days out on the water. We look forward to cooler days for hiking and biking. Bowling has been meeting on Thursday mornings. Supper Club is looking forward to some Fall dining, we met at Pike Lake for a fish fry. Get involved, we have many activities happening.
September 2020-2021 Update: The Activity Groups had limited meetings during the year due to COVID. Book Club met through Zoom meetings. We were so happy to be able to connect, again. Biking and hiking and kayaking enjoyed the outdoors. Supper Club met for patio dining. Golf and bowling met on their regular schedule.
September 2019 Update: The Activity Groups are ready to start a new year. Do you have idea for a group you would like to see? How about crafts or games or plays or movies? A girl friend's vacation would be fun. Come to our first meeting and make it happen.
January 2019 Update: This month, Supper Club enjoyed cooking their own meal at French Forks in West Bend with Lava Cake for dessert, yum. Last month, we gathered for hors d'oeuvres and drinks. Daytrippers went to a school concert and an art tour of local businesses. A trip to the domes is planned for February. Book Club watched the movie, "Book Club" this month. Our club is definitely not like theirs. Bunco and Euchre continue to have great turnouts. What a great opportunity for us to get together and have some lively conversation. Golf and hiking may have given us a few chances to get outside during this mild winter. Recent snow and maybe we can go snowshoeing. Get out there and get involved! We'd love to see you!
November 2018 Update: The Activity Groups continue to have great attendance. Supper Club had a soup dinner. Luncheon group recently went to Indian Garden and North Star Bistro. Daytrippers went on a historical tour of Cedarburg and an art tour in Monches. Hiking and biking have not been meeting due to the cold weather. Golf is done for the season. Book Club has provided us with great discussions about the books we are reading. Bunco and Euchre have both had large groups for fun nights playing dice and cards. Bowling has provided good exercise during this cold Fall weather.
May 2018 Update: All our Activity Groups had a great time meeting over the past year. Supper Club has been enjoying more restaurant dining due to not wanting to spend all day preparing a dish. It is fun to do once in awhile and makes for a great evening at a member's home. Luncheon Group continues to find new local restaurants to visit. Biking and hiking has been riding on the Bugline Trail quite a few times this summer. The days are getting shorter, so we are not making it all the way out to Merton before darkness gets us on the way back. Bowlers will be starting up again this fall. Think about joining them or being a regular sub. Golf met almost every week over the summer. Have to ask the ladies if they improved their game. Book Club is reading "The Fall of Giants" over the summer. Handcrafters and Euchre have their loyal group members who continue to enjoy their hobbies and friendships. May 2017 Update: All our Activity Groups are enjoying great fun. Bunco is going strong. Supper Club went to Main Mill in April and is looking to go out for Mexican in May. Luncheon Group is checking out a new restaurant in the Mayfair Collection this month. Biking and hiking has been out a few times already. Bowlers is winding down for the year, are you ready for golf? Book Club is reading A Man Called Ove and planning for Summer reading. Handcrafters and Euchre continue to meet. Are you joining us for the Spring Luncheon wearing your Summer Garden Hat?
February 2017 Update: Activity Groups have been busy this year. Bunco has been having a big crowd of 16 each month. Supper Club had Casseroles and Comfort Food in January and Valentine's Day in February. March is scheduled for a Mardi Gras Party. Luncheon Group has been to a variety of restaurants. Biking and Hiking enjoyed a walk in Menomonee Park on one of our warm winter days and another is in the works for this weekend. Handcrafters and Bowlers are staying active. Book Club is keeping up with current books, and reading Brooklyn for this month. Couples have been away and not able to make it to Euchre.

October 2016 Update: Activity Groups have met already this month. We've gotten together for Bunco and Book Club. We've eaten with our Luncheon and Supper Club friends. We've met to bowl and color. Get involved, have some fun!
September 2016 Update: Activity Groups are ready to share their plans for the year. NID went out for a Mexican Meal at Seester's on Pewaukee Lake. Bunco has been meeting all summer and we had 16 players at Gail's this month. Bowling Babes are playing and trying to avoid those dreaded foot fouls. Euchre is ready to play cards as we move into cooler Fall evenings. Luncheon group continues to find delicious restaurants to visit. Book club has a great reading list for the year. We had a nice group meet at Wendy's new house and discuss two books this month. Biking/Hiking group took a nice 4 mile walk in Germantown last week. Handcrafters and our newest group, CCC, (Coloring, Conversation and Cocktails) are both looking for members to join them and share their current projects. So many fun ways to make New Connections, join us!
January 2016 Update: Our Activity Groups are planning for a busy new year. Now that the hustle and bustle of the holidays are over, it is time to reconnect with everyone. We started off with a fun NID on Saturday night, enjoying great food and conversation, thanks Lynn for the conversation cards. May 2015 Update: Hobby Boards have been busy all year, so busy that updating them has not happened. Spring was warm for a few weeks and gave us a chance to get out on our bikes, but it has been cool, again. Hopefully next week will be warmer. Golf will be starting up in June. Can't wait to get out to enjoy a full day in the beautiful surroundings of a golf course. Book club is meeting regularly, with a meeting tonight. International Dining has provided us some new experiences this year, including English and an Eastern Orthodox Easter meal. We are looking forward to a fondue party and swimming, hosted by Phyllis and Helen. The Luncheon group continues to find new restaurants to visit. They will continue to meet over the summer. Socials have found fun activities around town including brewery and cheese tours, plays and musicals, gardens and dancing. The attendance at Monday night's Bunco has been phenominal, providing for lots of conversation and winnings. Euchre and Game Night each continue to meet with a strong group of regulars, frequently meeting for a Fish Fry beforehand. We are looking forward to getting together with some groups that will continue to meet over the summer.
September 2014 Update: Hobby Boards have started up for the 2014-15 year. Bike and Hike group has enjoyed the recent nice weather with hikes and bike rides. The day trippers group has gone to the Bast Bell Museum and is planning a trip to view the colors at Holy Hill. Luncheon group continues to visit various restaurants, September was Old Town Inn. Book club read the Divergent Series over the summer. Game night, Bunco, Euchre and International Dining are all in full swing. NID for October will be a wine tasting to go along with a fabulous meal. All those who went out for a fish fry at Nardo's had a delicious meal. Bowling Babes are playing on Thursdays, while golf has finished their season. Join us to get in on all the fun!
May 2014 Update: Monthly hobby boards continue to help us stay in contact with each other. NID has had meals from Sweden and Iceland and eating out at AJ O'Brady's. We've had busy nights of Bunco, Euchre and Game night. Book club has read Orphan Train and Invention of Wings, two books on my "to be read" list. We have been getting together for fun activities such as going to see "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers" again by the Menomonee Falls Players, and going out after the monthly meeting for margaritas at Su Casa. We are starting a bike riding/hiking group with our first outing this Tuesday, May 13th on the Bugline Trail, contact Jeannette if you'd like to join us.
January 2014 Update: Our hobby boards have been busy with their monthly meetings. NID has had Polynesian and Hawaiian. Euchre is going strong and going out for Friday Fish Fries before playing. Games night is having fun. We just played Minute to Win It and got some great photos and video. Book club is taking a break for a movie this month. Luncheon group and bowling have continued. We have gone out to see local plays and the Christmas House. We are looking to get a group together to go see the Dixie Swim Club by the Menomonee Falls Players.
September 2013 Update: Many hobby boards continued over the summer including Bunco, Luncheon group, golf, and Euchre. The Spring Luncheon was enjoyed by all. What are you going to get involved with this year?
April 2013 Update: ID was at Kim's for a picnic and to watch the Final Four. We had a small group that led to some wonderful time for conversation and the guys were involved with the games. All the food was so delicious! Bunco in March was at Kim's. We had many Bunco winners!
March 2013 Update: ID was at Jeannette's. We had a large group and enjoyed and Irish Dinner. Bunco in February was also at Jeannette's with another large group. Book club and Crafts have been meeting. We are looking to go to the Pottery shop in April.
December 2012 Update: Our Hobby Boards have been busy. ID had their annual Christmas Party at MaryJo's. There was a large group with plenty of appetizers and drinks to go around. The men enjoyed watching the Badgers win. Bunco was held a week early due to the holidays and the night went long with all the talking going on. Book club met to discuss a quick Christmas read. We have some new ideas for local trips and activities, hope you can join us.
Summer 2012 Update: Many clubs continued their activities over the summer including Golf, Bunco, and ID. Wasn't the Annual Spring Luncheon in May a great Harley time? What will those creative ladies plan for us this year? As we round the corner to fall, club activities will begin again. What are you going to get involved with this year?
March 2012 Update: ID was Polish shared by good friends having a delicious time. Book club met to discuss Jodi Picoult's Handle with Care. Cedarburg wine tasting was a fun trip. Our monthly meeting included an RN who talked to us about heart health and was available to answer our questions. We also had our annual book and magazine sale. Euchre and Bunco both had large groups playing this month and made for fun evenings. We are looking forward to Spring and our annual luncheon to be held at Village Bowl this year with Chef Daniel preparing wonderful dishes for our celebration.
February 2012 Update: ID was Moroccan and enjoyed by all. Book club met to watch Sarah's Key. Daytrippers had a great guided tour at the Milwaukee Art Museum. Our monthly meeting included great appetizers to try for your next party. Other groups also met with plenty of activity and ways to be involved. Looking forward to discussing Handle with Care and visiting Cedar Creek Winery for wine tasting in March. Will you be joining us?
January 2012 Update: International Dining had a very filling night of crockpot recipes. We almost had to be rolled home. Book club was going to watch the "Lincoln Lawyer" but we cancelled because of the snow. We plan on watching it for our February meeting. Luncheon Group has plans to go to Ivee's. The Domes, Spice House and Bowling are also in the works for the next few weeks. Contact the member in charge and join us.
November 2011 Update: Bunco, International Dining, Luncheon Group, Bowling, Book Club, Socials - everyone has been meeting and enjoying our Fall activities. We can only look forward to the new activities that will come with the new year.
October 2011 Update: The hobby boards are going strong. Book club has met to discuss the 3 book Dragon girl series and Silent Witness. November will be Forbidden Garden and a Christmas story will be selected for December. The other groups have been meeting regularly. A few of us headed over to Williams and Sonoma on Sunday and learned some helpful pie making techniques. We plan on going again to learn more about cooking for the holidays.
