They are also performed for Pre-Employment and Fitness for Duty Evaluations. A client's unique history and current needs are taken into consideration when determining the assessments used.

DBQs were developed as a specific means to collect the necessary medical information required in the processing of Veterans disability claims. DBQs provide veterans with a way to submit medical evidence to support their claims for disability benefits. A comprehensive review of the veteran's records will be completed as well as an evaluation of current symptoms to assess the VA rating for their mental health diagnosis.
