In this class, students will explore the science of chemistry and how it relates to everyday life. Chemistry is an essential science because chemistry is the study of matter and all things are made up of matter. After leaving this class students will have a greater understanding of how and why changes in matter affects our everyday lives. Additionally, having a strong knowledge of chemistry is important for many varying career paths.
