• Katheryn Thomas investigated the recovery of forests from pine beetle devastation by investigating seed bank loads and long-term patterns of succession. (2016-2017)

• Nelly Cyuzuza researched DNA techniques to detect halogeton in pronghorn antelope scat. (2016-2017)

• Julia Hanni measured water quality in the Green River to determine the impacts of anthropogenic activities and climate change.

• Jessica Miller investigated the contribution of non-pollinating insects to pollination. (2016)

• Jed Zampedri monitored the lower Bitter Creek to determine if and where the flannelmouth sucker, a rapidly declining and poorly documented species, is present. (2016)
