LEADERSHIP IN COLLABORATION TEAMS AND THE DEPARTMENT:
- Served as the chemistry and honors chemistry team leader
- Led the chemistry team in adopting the Living by Chemistry curriculum
- Developed a "flipped" classroom environment and supported other course teams in doing so throughout the building
- Encouraged rich conversations regarding standards-based learning among teams in the school
- Encouraged and solicited collaboration with other course teams to develop common practices of assessment
LEADERSHIP IN THE SCHOOL AND DISTRICT:
- Developed and taught GAFE professional development for Elmhurst 205
- Created and lead multiple professional development presentations in the school
- Participated in York's Data Team, Technology Committee, and Grading Task Force (GTF)
- Co-chaired the GTF at York and participated in various group conversations regarding grading
- Participated in the Dylan Wiliam book study with York administration on formative assessment
- Advocated for and Engaged in further learning opportunities offered by the school to attend various workshops lead by: Douglas Reeves, Richard DuFour, Rick Wormeli, Thomas Guskey, and Dylan Wiliam
- Collaborated with teachers, school administrators, and district administrators as an instructional coach for the last four years
