What We Believe

The mission of this congregation is to spiritually nurture others using Christ as our living example as set forth in the Great Commision (Matthew 28:18-20) : thereby enabling them to be God's instrument in presenting Christ as Lord and Savior.

HOW TO BECOME A MEMBER OF THE MEYERSDALE CHURCH OF THE BRETHREN:

1. Confession of faith in Christ and baptism by Trine Immersion (dipped 3 times forward) as practiced by the Church of the Brethren or

2. Letter of Transfer from another Church of the Brethren congregation or any other Christian Church where Believer’s Baptism (you made your own personal decision) was the form of baptism or

3. Reaffirmation of Faith and Renewal of the Commitment to Membership made at an earlier time in another congregation where Believer’s Baptism was the form of baptism.

If you ever have an interest or questions concerning baptism, feel free to ask the Pastor. We don’t have a regularly scheduled time to baptize; baptism is held as individuals realize they need to obey God in this area.
