Mobile communication lab (MCLab) is headed by Professor Young-Ju Kim and we study various wireless communication techniques related to the next generation mobile communication system and ubiquitous computing. We currently pay out attention to the lab-based implementations of our study, especially physical layer and multi-cell system of LTE-A (Long Term Evolution-Advanced) and codebook-based LTE-A system.
In November of 2005, we developed the diagnostic monitoring (DM) program for the 3rd generation mobile stations funded by LG Electronics company. In September 2010, we developed LTE release-9 link-level simulator funded by LG-Ericsson. From October 2009 to now, we have worked to design physical layer link level simulator of LTE release 9, which is feafured by dual-layer beamforming. We wish you take a moment, look at our pages and share your views on the next genreration mobile communication with us.
