Mobile Communication Lab

Mobile communication lab (MCL) is headed by Professor Young-Ju Kim and we study various wireless communication techniques related to the next generation mobile communication system and ubiquitous computing. We have payed our attention to the lab-based implementations of our study, especially physical layer and codebook-based multiple antenna systems.

In November of 2005, we developed the diagnostic monitoring (DM) program for the 3rd generation mobile stations funded by LG Electronics company.

In September 2013, we developed LTE link-level simulator funded by LG-Ericsson. From October 2013 to now, we have worked to design 3-dimensional beamforming link level simulator of LTE-A, which is featured by dual-layer transmission.
