The WBL Application

The WBL/YAP Application process typically runs from February to May. Students may pick up an application from the following locations: Right outside room 506-The WBL Career Center, the MCHS Front Office, the MCHS Guidance Office and the BRCCA CTAE Office, and now, of course, this WBL/YAP website.

1. Complete the attached WBL application. Fill out each and every blank.

2. Make sure your parents have signed the last page.

3. Select three teachers who know you well, and ask them to complete teacher recommendations.

4. Once the parent-signed application and three teacher recommendations are returned to Ms. Waldrop, your application will be processed.

5. You will be notified within one month of your program acceptance status.

In order to be considered for WBL, you must first meet the following requirements:

1. You must be on track for graduation.

2. You must have good behavior.

3. You must have a good attendance record.

4. You must be a rising junior or senior, be at least 16 years old, and have your own transportation and car insurance.

5. You must have three positive teacher recommendations.

Of course, if notified Ms. Waldrop will always consider any special circumstances re: students and acceptance into WBL.
