Ms. Waldrop has been a high school educator for 22 years. She is an alumni of Georgia College & State University where she was a member of the 1982 NAIA National Champion Gymnastics Team, Delta Zeta Sorority and the Delta Sigma Pi Professional Business Fraternity. She began her teaching career as a Business & Computer Science Teacher. She also spent many years coaching high school gymnastics. After taking a few years off from teaching, she came to MCHS to resume her career. Ms. Waldrop began teaching at Madison County High School and The Broad River College & Career Academy in February, 2013. She is married to attorney, Michael S. Waldrop. They have two daughters, a son-in-law, and a granddaughter: Peter, Caroline and baby Evie Zavislak and Katarina "Kat" Waldrop. They also have five 4-legged children: 3 pups and 2 cats.
