Welcome to the McCollum Family Charitable Fund!

We concentrate our charitable programs and grant making activities on our local communities with a focus on education, community improvement, and other causes that are important to our family.

Our Mission

The Fund was created to focus our giving on projects that we could understand first-hand and stay involved in through the duration of the project. The majority of our donations are given directly to transparent public charities or educational institutions that appreciate the gift, but also allow us to be involved in bringing the project in question to fruition. These donations are commonly made anonymously and at direction of our Board who votes on donations once a quarter.

Grants to individuals and organizations will also be considered. Prospective donees seeking a grant must fill out the Grant Request Form, which must be accompanied by a 500-1000 word description of how the grant will be used. Individual grants may not exceed $1,000 to individuals or $5,000 to organizations. Grants must be submitted to fomccollum@yahoo.com, and a response should be expected within 4 – 6 weeks. Because we are a Charitable Fund, and not a Foundation, all gifts must receive final approval through our Fund Custodian.
