Scholarship payments will be sent via direct deposit to your bank account. If you don't have a bank account, you may create a FREE online account with a service such as Chime or SoFi. (Please create a bank account before you complete this registration form.) You may then link your online bank account with your Venmo or CashApp. For most students, this means NO PAPER CHECKS. In special cases we can mail a check if necessary.
Please complete the registration form below, including your bank account information, so that we can send you a scholarship. We are still collecting physical mailing addresses for our records.
Once you have completed the registration form, then send an email to mcclymondsmerit@gmail.com with the following three documents attached:
1) A short letter OR VIDEO telling us what your current goals are, challenges you are having and recent achievements. And tell us why this scholarship is important to you .
If you wish, you may include some information about what you have done or plan to do with the scholarship money.
You can create the document with a word processor or Google docs, or just send it in the text of an email.
2) Transcript including your last completed semester (or quarter).
You must have a GPA of 2.0 or better to continue to receive financial support from the Mack Merit program. We do not include fitness and athletics classes when we calculate your GPA. We only count academic courses.
Your name must appear on the transcript
3) Class list for the current semester showing the number of units that you plan to take -
Your name must appear on your class registration document.

You will receive an email response within about a week of submitting your documents, letting you know whether your documents are complete.
BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR EMAIL TO SEE IF THERE WERE ANY PROBLEMS WITH YOUR DOCUMENTS.
If your documents were complete, you will receive another email when we actually process your scholarship payment.

Our program is all volunteer run and it may take up to a week to get a response. It may take even longer to get a response during the months when our program is 'quiet' (November and December, April, May, June and July).
