The McClymonds Merit Award program seeks to ensure that no graduate of McClymonds High School is blocked from further education by financial hardship, and that McClymonds graduates are well prepared for education beyond high school.
This renewable award, established in 2001, recognizes academic success, community service, and serves as an incentive to McClymonds graduates to continue their education after high school. The Merit Award program is funded by a bequest from two long time educators and community minded individuals, as well as other donors.
