We are very excited to announcement the Multibeam in Rivers Workshop to be held in Baton Rouge, Louisiana from March 15-17, 2017, at Louisiana State University. This event will be hosted by LSU Center for River Studies, LSU Coastal Studies Institute, and LSU Department of Geography and Anthropology.

Following our last successful meeting in Flagstaff, Arizona (March 2015), we would like to continue a similar format of 2 days for presentations and discussion, and 1 day for field and/or software demonstrations. This workshop is open to contributions beyond multibeam echo sounding, such as photogrammetry and structure from motion, terrestrial LiDAR, acoustic Doppler current profilers, and other remotely sensed data. If your work deals with high-resolution data of river channels, this workshop is for you!

To register or submit a presentation topic for the workshop, please use the links below. There will not be a registration fee for this event, however there will be a limit on the number of attendees. So please make sure to sign-up as early as possible.

We look forward to seeing you in March!
