Both the JV and the varsity boys teams are off to great starts. The boys JV team beat Northville 1-0 on Wednesday, Gloversville 4-1on Thursday, and Northville again 2-0 on Saturday. The boys are starting to develop a sense of rhythm to their game and are moving the ball much better as the season wears on. This week coming up, the boys play on Monday at 4:30 against Johnstown.
The Varsity team beat Fort Plain 6-1 on Monday. There were three different scorers, Dylan Toscano with 3, Thom Perham with 2 and John Donnan. This was followed with a tough and physical game against Canajoharie on Friday. Toscano and Perham scored again and the boys won 2-1. On Saturday, as a night cap to "Mayfield-Northville Day", the Varsity prevailed 3-0 behind goals by Toscano, Perham and Jordan Ryder. The boys have three tough games this week. Monday they travel to Galway, Wednesday to Mekeel Academy (formerly Schenectady Christian) and Friday welcomes Middleburgh.
