I am a former Board Member of the New Jersey branch of the International Dyslexia Association, for whom I also used to co-chair an annual conference called the Winter Institute Food for Thought. The last time I co-chaired this conference, I helped raised over $30,000 for high school seniors with dyslexia looking to attend college while providing research-based workshops for teachers working to achieve continuing education credits.
