In addition to my responsibilities as an Instructional Coach, I am also an adjunct professor at Fairleigh Dickinson University in the Center of Dyslexia Studies. I am hired through the university to go to various districts throughout New Jersey to run an after-school clinic-based graduate program to certify teachers in Orton-Gillingham, a multisensory and systematic approach to teaching phonics. It's in these classes that I act as a supervisor, conducting formal observations and lesson plan checks.
Below are links to some examples of lesson plan checks and observation reports that I have used to evaluate teacher performance in various Orton-Gillingham cohorts.
