■目的:
本補習校は、サウス・カロライナ州在住の日系子女に、母国語としての日本語教育を行い、日本文化の理解と、日本に帰国後、日本の教育環境 により順応できるよう、日本の学校における主要授業科目を行うことを目的とする。
■基本方針:
幼児、児童、生徒、保護者、教師の信頼と理解により、明るく楽しい学校を維持、継続し、日本文化を継承した子供の健全な育成を図る。
教室における日本語以外にも、野外活動、及び、日本の伝統的な行事の具現を通して、日本文化の体験をさせる。
教育環境の向上のために、保護者、委員が協力し、より良き環境の整備に努める。
■入学資格:
次のいずれにも該当する子女に限る。
四月の入学時に、小学部は満六歳、また、幼児部は四/五歳児を対象とする。
原則的に日系子女であること。
本学園の目的を達成するために適当と認められた者。
*上記入学資格に該当しないものが入学を希望した場合には、運営委員会の審議の上、決定される。

■Purpose:
The mission of this school is to create a continuously improving environment that will provide children of Japanese parentage residing in South Carolina with training in Japanese Language as a mother language, an understanding of Japanese culture, and an improved ability to adapt to the Japanese educational environment after their return to Japan.
■Fundamental Policies:
With the goodwill and understanding of students, their guardians and instructors, the school seeks to maintain and perpetuate an interesting and enjoyable learning environment for the purpose of educating students to become well-rounded heirs to the Japanese culture.
The school seeks to allow students to experience Japanese culture through the medium of traditional Japanese events and field activities as well as Japanese language and math education in the classroom.
The guardians and school-board committee members will cooperate in efforts to improve the educational environment with better arrangements and facilities.
■Qualifications for admission: Admission to the school is restricted to students satisfying each of the following criteria.
Elementary students must be at least six years old when beginning school in April. Kindergarten students must be four/five years old
In principle, the children should be of Japanese parentage.
The students must be recognized as appropriate to the purposes of the school.
* Children wishing to enter the school who do not meet the above admission requirements will be admitted at the discretion of the Steering Committee.
