Analysis III for Computer Science (winter 2016/17)
The course is given by Prof. A. Pultr. At the classes will be assuming knowledge of semesters 1 and 2 from the lecture notes plus what has been taught by Prof. Pultr in semester 3 to date.
A new problem set will be published shortly after every class. Students are supposed to attempt solving the problems at home.
- Problem set 1 (4th October). Repetition of Analysis II: implicit functions and optimization with constraints.
- Problem set 2 (14th October). Riemann integrals and metric spaces.
- Problem set 3 (20th October). More on metric spaces: continuous functions.
- Problem set 4 (28th October). Power series.
- Problem set 5 (by H. R. Tiwary). Power series (continued).
- Problem set 6 (by H. R. Tiwary). Line integrals.
- Problem set 7 Green's theorem and complex derivative.
- Problem set 8 (by H. R. Tiwary). Analytic functions.
- Problem set 9 (by H. R. Tiwary). Analytic functions II.
