Go through the Digital Lesson in the online textbook. There is an orange sheet hanging on the file cabinet with my log in information. You MUST use Google Chrome as the browser or it won't work! This is the link: http://www-k6.thinkcentral.com/ePC/start.do

Navigate to the lesson:

• When you get logged in you will be at the Dashboard.
• On the right side you should see a dropdown menu that says Journeys NA 2011.
• Click that and choose TX Science Fusion instead. Then make sure Grade 6 is selected and choose Teacher Resources. A new window will open.
• On the left side you should see Unit 10 Organisms and Environments, select this.
• Then choose Lesson 3, Introduction to Ecology by clicking the 'play' arrow. A new window will open and the lesson begins automatically.

I usually allow students to maneuver through the lesson by poking at the SmartBoard, they like it and it can be used as a reward (i.e., well behaved kids get to take turns and poke it).

Students should follow along and fill out their handout.
