We will relate the conversion (transfer/transformation) of energy forms to real life examples using a simulation.
Big Idea: Energy can change from one form into another, but it is never created or destroyed.
Tasks:
You have the option of completing the Gizmo on paper or electronically
Paper version - get paper from Ms. Massie and follow steps 5-6 below.
Electronic version - follow steps 1-9 below.
- Download the document file below this post. (look for a small blue arrow at the bottom right of this post)
- Enable editing on your file.
- Save As to your H:/ drive. Add your full name to the end of the file.
- Keep this file open while you work through the Gizmo simulation.
- Go to the Explore Learning website and log in. (if you don't remember your username/password, check the reminder page in the Files tab)
- Choose your science teacher to find your Gizmo.
- Complete the Gizmo by following all instructions in the order listed on your paper.
- Save as you work!
