Indian Philosophy, Philosophy of Mind and Comparative Philosophy

My research interests focus on the self and mind discussed in terms of classical Indian philosophy, early Buddhism, and contemporary philosophy of mind. I focus on the Samkhya and Yoga views on subjectivity, including the question of consciousness (cit), unconscious (cetas, samskara, vasana), mind (citta, antahkarana), the self (purusa), ego / egotism or the sense of self (ahamkara, asmita), and mineness (mamakara), etc
